Radlein Obituary November 19 1944. Killed in Burma, 18th April, 1944, Hugo de Lafontaine Williams, Captain, R.A.C. (Nugee's, B, 1926-29). All his contemporaries will remember him for his running. Long legs and a graceful style enabled him to establish new school records for the mile and half-mile, the latter of which still stands. He also boxed for the school and was in the Shooting VIII. He had been in business since leaving school and had spent part of his life on the west coast of Africa.
