Radlein Obituary November 23 1941. Missing, presumed killed, at sea in October, 1941, David Carlisle Ridley Swabey, Ord. Seaman, R.N. (Hedgecock's-Southam's, F). He came to Radley from Ashdown House, and was a House Prefect. On leaving in 1940, he immediately joined up in the Navy, a career on which he had set his heart.
