Radlein Obituary February 18 1943. In August, 1941, reported missing from air operations, later missing believed killed, WilIiam Edleston Spooner, Sergt. Flight Engineer, RA.F.V.R. (Hedgecock's-Southam's, F, 1935-39). He left just before the war to go to Trinity College, Cambridge, to study engineering. He was intensely interested in his future profession and also in social service. Always ready to help and not easily put off by difficulties, he is remembered as a cheerful, kind-hearted friend, and we deeply grieve his loss.
