Radlein Obituary November 23 1941. In October, 1941, on active service, Norman Jagoe Smith (Smale's, H, 1929-1933), Pilot Officer, R.A.F.V.R. While at Radley he showed himself a boy of very pleasant disposition, and he took a prominent part in the activities of his Social. He was a House Prefect, was in the Science VIth and played for the 2nd XV in 1932 and I933. On leaving Radley he went to Faraday House, but later turned to Accountancy. He had just passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants when he joined the R.A.F.V.R. He obtained his commission in June of this year.
