November 23 1941. In 1941, on active service, originally reported missing, now presumed killed, Henry Beaucourt Skyrme, Pilot Officer, R.A.F. He was at Radley from 1931 to 1935 (Stevenson's, D). While at school he never became eminent, but lived always an active life, and remained a loyal Radleian after he left. In 1936 he went into business, but left it to train as a pilot in the R.A.F., being commissioned in September 1938.
