Radlein Obituary | June 15 1941. In April I941, from injuries received on duty some months previously, Carill Stanley Napier, Captain, Air Transport Auxiliary. At Radley (Hedgecock's, F) from 192I-1925, he rowed and played Rugger for his House with keenness. The award of a prize for mathematics gave him intense satisfaction, as he claimed John Napier of Merchistoun, the inventor of logarithms, among his ancestors. From Radley he went to Faraday House Electrical College and eventually became an aeronautical engineer. |
