November 23 1941. On December 22nd, 1940, reported missing while on active service. now presumed killed, Peter Fenton Miles, Flying Officer, R.A.F.V.R. He was at Radley (Boyd's - Morgan's, G) from 1934 to 1938 when he went up to Trinity, Oxford, for one year. In his last year at Radley he developed a keen interest in fiying, and at the University became a prominent member of the Air Squadron. His spontaneous
and unassuming charm of manner brought him many friends
both in his Social and his College. He will be sadly missed.
