March 16 1941. Recorded as missing June 15 1941. Recorded as missing November 23 1941. On December 22nd, 1940, reported missing while on active service. now presumed killed, Peter Fenton Miles, Flying Officer, R.A.F.V.R. He was at Radley (Boyd's - Morgan's, G) from 1934 to 1938 when he went up to Trinity, Oxford, for one year. In his last year at Radley he developed a keen interest in fiying, and at the University became a prominent member of the Air Squadron. His spontaneous and unassuming charm of manner brought him many friends both in his Social and his College. He will be sadly missed. |
