Radlein Obituary June 13 1943. Died in West Africa, Stephen Gilbert Bowyer Marsh, M.C., Major, RA. He was at Radley (Bryans's, G) from 1907 to 1911, and on leaving went to R.M.A., Woolwich, where he played in the Football XV. He was commissioned to the R.F.A. in 1913. He served in France from 1914-1919, ending as acting Major. He was wounded, was mentioned in despatches and in 1916 won the M.C. He retired from the Army as a Major in 1926. Before the present war he was adjutant to a unit of Territorial R.E.s, but in Sept., 1939, rejoined his old regiment.
