| Radlein Obituary | November 19 1944. In August 1944, died of wounds received in N.W. France, Adrian Osborne Malcolm-King, Captain, R. Scots Fus, (Nugee's, B, 1933-37). He did well at school, being a Prefect and a member both of the VIII and XV. He left school to go to Sandhurst and passed out in the R. Scots Fus. in 1939. He had seen a good deal of fighting and was wounded in Norway in 1940. Adrian King was the last survivor of three bosom friends of schooldays; Peter Glyn and Bob Atkins were killed in N. Africa. Adrian King was like them - hard physically, independent in action and without fear - the right sort for soldiers. |
