Radlein Obituary November 19 1944. Killed in action in August 1944, Anthony Glanmore Lewis, Maj,, S. Wales Bord. (Hedgecock's, F, 1932-33). He was older than the average boy when he entered the school, so that we did not know him as a small boy. He was a strong fellow and did well in Rugger, Boxing and Athletics. In 1933 he boxed in the Radley team against Bradfield. He wanted to enter Government service, but he was not very strong in his school work. He therefore joined the police force and from this transferred to the S. Wales Borderers through the Supplementary Reserve in 1938.
