| Radlein Obituary | June 17 1945. Killed in action in February. 1945. in Western Europe. Gordon Dudley Jephson. M.C., Major, Oxford and Bucks L.I (Heilard's. 1929-31). He left Radley young to go as a day-boy to another school. Later he entered Sandhurst, and was commissioned in 1936. He was twice wounded, in I940 and 1944. and was promoted Captain 1943, Major 1944. As a boy he gave promise of being a useful all-round member of his Social. We were sorry that he did not stay his full time here. |
