Radlein Obituary November 23 1941. On 24th May, 1941, on board H.M.S. Hood,. John Mair James Hunter. He was at Radley (Stevenson's, D) from I930 to 1934. Here he lived a quiet, unostentatious life, known intimately only to a small circle of friends, but these would have known that the war would find him in the service of the country. After leaving Radley he went through five years' training at Lloyds and became a member. When he joined the Navy he was Deputy Marine Underwriter to his firm. At the time of his death he was within a fortnight of the end of his period of service at sea preparatory to appearing before a Board with a view to a commission.
