Radlein Obituary |
June 13 1943. Recorded as missing November 21 1943. In May 1943, Anthony Vyvyan Harper, Pilot Officer, R.A.F.V.R. He came to Radley from Highfield School, Liphook, in 1934 (Nugee's-Eason's, B) and left in 1939. He will perhaps be best remembered by his contemporaries as a member of the Dramatic Society and a very keen and efficient stage-hand. In his early years at School he was not outstanding but he developed well later and was a House Prefect before he left. Many of us have pleasant memories of his visits to Radley after his return from America, for he was stationed not very far away for a considerable time. |
