| Radlein Obituary | June 17 1945. On May 16th in Haslar, RN. Hospital John Francis Errington, Lieut. (A), R.N.V.R (Bryans's G, 1913-17). He left Radley to join the Army during the last war, and served in France as a Sec. Lt. in the Berkshire Regt. On demobilisation, he obtained a post with the Western Telegraph Co., and was for many years in Chile. He returned to England early in the present war and was commissioned as a Pilot Officer in the R.A.F.V.R. A year later he transferred to the Fleet Air Arm and was serving as a Lieutenant when he died. |
