Radlein Obituary | June 15 1941. In March, 1941, on active service, Cyril Peter Dugdale, Pilot Officer, R. A.F.V.R (1934-1937, Stevenson's, D). He came to Radley as an Exhibitioner from Kingsland Grange, Shrewsbury. He left when he was still young and went to Germany for eight months. In October, 1938, he joined the Reiman School of Art in London, intending to make photography his profession. In the following April he joined the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, and at the time of his death he was serving with a bomber squadron as observer. Those who knew him at school will remember, above all, a quick and lively intelligence with a thousand interests. |
