November 17 1940. Recorded as missing March 16 1941. In July, 1940, reported missing while on active service, now believed killed, Antony Victor Macaskie Day, Sub-Lieut. (A), R.N. He was at Radley (Hedgecock's. F) from 1932 until 1936. He was a quiet boy, interested in Science and Mechanics, and he became very useful to the house in Rugger and at the river until a motor cycle accident put him out of these activities. After passing the School Certificate he left to take up technical training with a view to joining Imperial Airways. |
