Radlein Obituary March 16 1941. In February 1941, as the result of an accident, Robert George Douglas Darby. He came to Radley (Stevenson's-Watkins's, D) in the Michaelmas Term, 1935, from Wellington House, Westgate-on-Sea. He left at Midsummer, 1939, and went on to Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, in the following October. At Radley he gave his friendship to few, but to those few he gave it ungrudgingly. Those of us who were of the privileged few have memories of a vigorous, kindly companion, whose flashes of humour lightened many a difficult situation; of a lover of simple things, who liked doing things for the joy of doing them, and
not for any profit in the doing.
