| Radlein Obituary | June 15 1941. In May, 1941, on active service, Richard William Brownlee. He came to Radley (Smale's. H) as a Junior Scholar in 1931, but, just over a year later, had to leave owing to ill-health. He studied law, and immediately after passing the Solicitor's Final Exam. in November, 1939, he enlisted in the RA. He obtained a commission in the following October. and at the time of his death was a Lieutenant. |
