Radlein Obituary November 19 1944. Killed in an aircraft accident in India, 25th July, 1944, John Gordon Biddell, Flt. Lt., R.A.F.V.R. (Hedgecock's, Southam's, F, 1935-1939). A quiet gentlemanly fellow. He was a staunch friend, and will be mourned by all who knew him well. He made steady progress in his school work, and gained the school certificate. He was a member of the Scientific Society, and particularly interested in everything connected with country life. He left the school with the intention of entering his family business (farmer and hop factor). He joined the R.A.F.V.R. and was commissioned in 1942
