Radlein Obituary November 17 1940. Killed on active service, 5th August 1940, Peter Dahl Arup, Pilot Officer, R.A.F.V.R He was the younger of two brothers in Mr. Stevenson's Social (D), which he joined from St. Andrew's School, Eastbourne, in I934. During the subsequent four years at Radley he lived an unpretentious life, but it was a happy one and he never lost an opportunity of renewing his memories by a visit. It was characteristic of him that he made few intimate friends, but those who were once admitted to close friendship enjoyed that privilege, not only throughout their school-days, but afterwards at Cambridge and in the Royal Air Force.
