November 23 1941. In Feb., 1941, missing. now presumed killed. Peter Thomas Anderson, M.R.C.S, L.R.C.P., Flying Officer (Medical), R.A.F.V.R., son of J. S. Anderson, O.R. He was a House Prefect and Captain of Social Boats and rowed in the Second VIII which won the Public Schools Cup at Marlow Regatta in 1932. On leaving, he went to Caius College, Cambridge, and after taking his degree he entered the medical school of the Middlesex Hospital. In I940 he was appointed House Physician at Swansea General and Eye Hospital. Later in the year, he was commissioned in the R.A.F.V.R He was always of a very active and vigorous disposition, and at the various stations during the short period of his service took a leading part in the games and entertainments of the forces. |
