Comments Photograph text gives 7th Somerset Light Infantry. West Sussex Yeo. were apparently re-roled as 12th SLI in January 1917. Reg gives "in ranks 19 Hussars 1914, aft. Lt W. Sussex Yeo., att'd SLI. Died of wounds rec'd at Gouzeaucourt, France". CWGC gives "12th (West Somerset Yeomanry) SLI", but 12/SLI was apparently in Palestine at this point - 7th was in France. Hum. Obituary in Radleian of 30/3/1918.
