War Memorial Fund Ctte minutes 23.2.1921: ' 5. The Secretary was authorised to ask Mr Simpson if he would agree to the George R Simpson Exhibition founded by him being awarded to the late Senior Prefect of Radley, George Mallaby, to enable him to go up to Oxford.'

War Memorial Fund Ctte minutes 19.7.1923: '5. On the application of the Warden the George Simpson Exhibition which had lapsed on G Mallaby taking his degree was awarded to the present Senior Prefect, V. O'Connor.'
