Mrs Glossop applied for her son FWA Glossop. The Committee favour the consideration to her application but would await further information as to the amount of help required.' War Memorial Fund Ctte minutes 8.12.1927: '4. It was resolved to offer a scholarship for FWA Glossop from Sept 1930 of £100 pa.' War Memorial Fund Ctte minutes 15.6.1928: '3. A letter of thanks from Mrs Glossop was read.' War Memorial Fund Ctte minutes 30.10.1930: 'e. Mrs Glossop asked for additional help for her son (who is already at Radley) as from 1932 when his Canadian Pension terminates. The Com. decided to offer a further £25 with possible further increase.' |
