William Sewell's 'Reminiscences'. Vol. 1, part 1. March to May 1866

In this volume Sewell writes from a hotel in Heidelberg where he is staying to convalesce after he was forced to resign from the wardenship of Radley College. He describes growing up on the Isle of Wight, some memories of Oxford and Radley, the scenery around Heidelberg, and talks with his fellow visitors. The dates given are erratic.
